We arrived in sunny Sandy Eggo with no problems.
The plane Toni and I were on came to gate 24 at the airport and Shelley's plane arrived at gate 25 three minutes later. Pretty good scheduling, eh?
Toni and Shelley exchanged some hugs and tears and headed for the baggage claim and repeated the same with Lori.
The sisters are together again!
We left the airport and headed for lunch. Garrett's pick was Buster's at Seaport Village.
GREAT burgers and a great atmosphere too. It has a surfer decor and it was a fun place to eat.
There was eight of us at Buster's:
Carmen, Shelley, Toni, Kim, Dustin, and the hosting family, Kevin, Lori, and Garrett.

Carmen and Dustin went to San Diego last Saturday. Dustin and Garrett have hung out together and having a good time. Here is a picture of Dustin with "The Man" Garrett:
After eating we strolled around Seaport Village. The girls all canvassed a few stores while the guys waited (patiently - grin). Here is a picture of Dustin and I honing our skills with toothpicks and people-watching.
Afterwards we went to Kevin and Lori's home and chatted. Lori made an awesome tortilla crusted tilapia dinner and Kevin made his world famous guacamole dip.
That's it for day 1 of our trip to Sandy Eggo, California.
