We had a very nice memorial Day just laid back and hangin' with the Smallwoods. I sorta had to be laid back `cuz I wrenched my back on Saturday. I dunno how but I did. It usually takes me a few days to get where I can stand up like a normal man rather than a "missing-link" pre-modern man. ;-)
RaeAnn and Rick baked pork ribs all night long on Sunday night and we BBQ'd them on Monday. Mmm, mmm, mmmm (as Andy Griffith would say). Then RaeAnn and Toni took Reagan to the neighborhood pool while Rick and I held down the couches. It becomes a two-man job on days when the food is managed in aboundance! :->
I really missed being with my mom on Memorial Day. I have visited her every year since my Dad went to heaven. I am sure we can be in Mountain Home, AR next year. It always nice to see her.
In summery (pun intended) it was a nice lazzzzy day.
